January 29th. LAS-SFO-OGG. First flight went mechanical, leading to 9 hour delay in arrival at destination and loss of lie-flat (still got F) SFO-OGG. Initial compensation $175. Protest yielded another $75. 1K, MMer. I thought $250 seemed unusually low.
