Travel Agency coding depends on what kind of service the agency is providing to the hotel - agency/direct model or 'own inventory' model.

You won't have much control of it when booking online.

Costco Agents can generally tell you over the phone what kind of booking you will be getting for a hotel if you use Costco Travel.
