That's an interesting point. The person ([MENTION=63612]wiffle[/MENTION]) originally bringing up two MVPs on the same PNR being unable to get complimentary upgrades (in post #830 ) didn't mention if the reservations listed "waitlisted for first class" or not.

I would, however, not trust it if it did. There are other instances of AS IT being wonky enough to have "waitlisted for first class" listed, but someone not actually being on the waitlist. The prime example of this is after a SDC if you don't wait ~ 15 minutes to check in. To be honest, there isn't a great reason to have travel companions on the same PNR (separate ones can be linked accomplishing basically the same thing), so I personally wouldn't chance it and would split PNRs.
