As someone based in SEA, and who flies SEA every week -- I hate this airport. It is one of my least favorite airports in the country.
I've noticed RJ's tend to get air traffic delayed versus mainline flights. I've held on the tarmac in a E175 at FAT for over an hour due to traffic versus a 737 at LAX getting out right away at the same time/day.
It's a growing issue and I don't plan on seeing the issue going away anytime soon. Early morning and late evening flights are always the best.
I can guarantee you that ATC doesn't care if you're mainline or in a regional jet. It all depends on where you fall in line with TBFM, sometimes you get the delay on the ground, or in the air (or both....)
