You do need a US paypal account in that case tho. BTW, the only way to add a Cdn CC to US PayPal is to initiate a purchase using a blank account without any existing CCs attached. Paypal will allow you to add a Cdn CC to complete the purchase and skip the usual paypal billing address verification.
