yeah, this usually give Q or higher only, but there are tickets in those classes that are cheaper.

When I am trying to qualify out of IAD, LAX, or SFO, I find it better to do something simple short and local, rather than trying to book one of my required trips across the country, to ORD or something or international. The latter flights always come out costing 1000.s$ instead of simply 100.00$ more than the regular RT.

I found an SFO to LAX that is 238.00 instead of 118.00$ that will help #1 1K GF qualify again.
