How often are CSR holders redeeming through the Chase portal? My sense based on reports here, blogs, my social circle, etc is that it's rarely done. If that's true, not sure why CSR's holders love to tout the $0.015.
Redeeming through is boring so it isn't something people blog or post about would be my guess. People blog or post about finding loopholes or amazing deals. Getting a 1.5x multiplier on points through the portal is a pretty good deal, but not something exciting you brag about.
