QR J passengers ( OWS/OWE status members flying Y) can use the AA flagship lounge in JFK which is way better than the admirals lounge.

I was EK gold for 4 years , so flew quite a bit and am QR gold for last 4 years,

I think the dine in demand and pre flight meal selection is awesome from QR, in fact couple J flights i have requested extra berries to be loaded and they have delivered. Also they have never run out of food, i also switch my body clock to destination time, so with dine on demand you can eat breakfast 1st on a night flight.

i felt service on EK was rushed and it is more relaxed on QR

IFE i will give it to EK, way better selection than QR and updated more frequently.

the seat is better and wider with QR and the Qsuite is very private, if traveling alone, try to get a window seat, i always did the rear facing A or K seats

EK has car service which is not an option w. QR

DXB has huge lounges in terminal A and B, QR has the Al Mourjan which is equally good , not as big but is good. i think both airline lounges have buffet food served in the their lounges

Only thing i miss about EK is the bar on the back of the A380 and the 3 or 4 flight frequency out of JFK.

I would avoid EY, too many cutbacks.
