So my damage was a windshield chip and they charged me $15 for it. I happily paid that over having to deal with the issue at a later time.
Upon pulling up in the lane, I told the agent that I dont want to close the rental and pay for the chip. He kept on insisting that dont worry about the chip, they will likely not even charge you for it. Even after my insistence that I wanted to pay, he closed the contract.
I had to get a shift lead to open my contract and charge me the $15. Took an extra 10 mins, which I am glad I spent on the spot to take care of the issue.
