I would agree with newcx12345 that are an anwful lot of queues at DXB. First you have to queue to get your bags x-rayed before check in. Check is normally fine and there is usually a premium line for immigration. Another security check (with a queue) followed by a Victor zone-esque hike into the main tunnel. Then long queues again at the gate - though if you are flying F you can normally short cut this by asking the gate staff nicely.

I do like the main terminal building as a design, but when the overnight flight back to LHR leaves it is peak hour for DXB and can be totally rammed.

Still a much nicer experience than RUH or JED though!
