Stayed here for a second time, upgraded to a One Bedroom Suite (didn't ask for an upgrade), about 1300 sqr feet, on a Free 1-7 Category Cert. THIS TIME, short trip and was conscious of the cost for food/beverage, because it is defiantly VEGAS POOL STYLE. IMO its out of line for Mexico, but hey I'm getting old. Decided to go to THE OFFICE for a 225$ dinner, with drinks, lobster, steak, versus stay on and spend 500$ again. GET OFF MY LAWN. Great pool, great staff, great property. Globalist Breakfast is good. Love the views, the property, the staff. Will be back on a cert or points stay. Think you have to get to AUG/SEPT before rates come down enough, that I would spend cash again. My NEW favorite Cabo Hotel, kills the Ziva but is very different, almost cannot compare.
THIS is my CABO TIP If staying at the Ziva or Cape or any high end Cabo Resort.........Fly in, stay at the HYATT PLACE for about 70$, last time we paid 57$, then the next morning- early, go check in and enjoy the amazing Resort. We usually do this on the way in and the way out. Plenty of good restaurants and bars in town to Uber or even walk to. Makes a 2 night Resort stay feel like 4, especial for a Globie with a 4 pm check out and they will check you in as early as 7 am, if the rooms available. At least that's my experience with the Ziva.
