I wouldn't even think twice about it, just take the cans and the food. If anyone asks, which I doubt they will, then you can explain the situation.

In the past I have...um.....liberated half a dozen Speedbird from the Flounge, and the occasional bag of crisps. I'm not justifying my actions, just stating what I have done, right or wrong.
