I'm now a lover of 7A. I also sat in 1A. This is one of the few planes where I do not wish to get upgraded. I could stretch out my legs completely in 7A(thanks to the opening under the partition. In 1A, I couldn't completely stretch my legs. (unless they move the bulk head forward another 8 or 10 inches?
