Looks like all the cases as gone, my guess is Koffer Direct lost their supply. Rimowa.com wants to be the e-commerce outlet, they don't need competition, obviously.

I am just glad I was able to get what I needed before LVMH ruined it completely. Granted I am stuck with an e-tag, but at least it works. Good luck in getting any discount from Rimowa much less a full VAT refund without dealing with Global Ripoff. I don't mind paying retail - its dealing with Global Ripoff which is what I hate the most.

If anyone has "insight" in how to get the alu cases ( I'm interested in the trunk) with full VAT refund, send me a PM. The galleria ( the only other place in Germany) that sells Rimowa other than the boutiques, asks me if I want to pay in CHF or EUR the moment I put my credit card in. Lets just say that is a non starter….much less what is taken from Global Ripoff

Side-note, unrelated : LVMH is taking over everything and recently took over Tiffany's . I noticed the New York store was closed recently for renovations for a year. Expect the same divergence from them. I quickly bought a few things that I wanted, and found out ( while i was at the store) that there were not much left of what I wanted to get. As with Rimowa, expect silly collaborations with Dior and Tiffany, and shirtless pre pubescent models hawking jewelry and luggage. Its Alexandre and his dad ( LVMH Ceo) handiwork at their best. Along with price increases and lower levels of service .

I have not yet noticed lower levels of quality…..that would be the end of Rimowa.
