I like amenity kits. It means I don't have to pack as much moisturizer, eye shades and earplugs, especially for short trips.

We keep them and give them away to shelters and to street kids. I sometimes regret the bulk of them, but they have their uses.

As for the concorde gifts. Yup, I'm bummed. I think my parents are going to do the starwood promo and it would be a nice gesture. But, they are spending about 1/8th of what they would on a ticket and I think they'll be okay with just the BA F kit on the return.
