WA is a new resort, so I am not worry about cockroaches at this place, but mosquitoes seems a problem to make uncomfortable if getting several bite during stay.
With the coronavirus going around currently, it has me more worry compares to mosquitoes bite or seeing cockroaches . I just hope that this outbreak will be under control soon. Otherwise, I must cancel my Maldives trip although I still have a few months on hand to decide. So far, online news mentioned over 11K has cancel their Maldives trip .
I had no mosquitos in my OWV, but I had one cockroach. I killed it with their dining towel and threw that in the trash. I didn’t bring it up to them and just enjoyed the rest of my stay.
I was very far from any land though, as my OWV was in the 140s, which was pretty much the second to last OWV. I imagine the possibility of having pests increase the closer you are to land.
The beach had beach/fruit flies though (don’t think they had mosquitos), and you would get at least a few buzzing around during breakfast or cocktail hour at TT or PA.
