As you can see by the list, Hertz averages out their cost and puts a huge discount if it is charged at time of rental return (vs corporate incident response form).
I joked before that I can't buy tires or a quality windshield for even twice the price that they show!
In my case I am going out of my way to do a quick resolution, because from what I read they would charge dealer prices after the fact ($1000-1200 plus loss of use fees) after the fact.
Chase sapphire reserve should reimburse either way as they have primary coverage ( though It will be ironic if they refuse to pay since I am not getting as itemized quotes and receipts as the rental firm normally would have to give for a long-form claim).
