Unfortunately BA has specced its NEOs with LCC seats and Airbus' "Spaceflex" combined rear galley/toilet concept and removed the middle table from Club Europe.
And yes as a result it feels basic. The drop down screens were deleted as the Aircraft are supposed to be fitted with streaming wi-fi and seat power.
I flew on a Lufthansa NEO last week and whilst it suffers the same basic seating as BA at least in Economy they serve you free food and drinks.
Air France is better in terms of seating and serving drinks and a snack in Y.
BA has gone too far into LCC territory with their NEO config. Pure Greed i'm afraid. Thankfully I have no routes longer than 90 minutes with them. Taking the Club table out is mean-spirited.
