I asked an FA about what happens to FAs who already are scheduled to fly the cancelled flights. She said they are guaranteed hours for them - so they will be paid (and might have to work other flights).

For flights further out, I don't know. I suppose some temporary layoffs might be necessary. It probably will be the case for a lot of the travel related industries given the suspension of outbound group travels from Mainland China.
