Received an email from giffgaff today increasing the data limits for the £20 and £25 Goodybags beginning February 26, 2020 from 40GB to 80GB. For the £25 Goodybag, you get unlimited but throttled data after 80GB.
The bad news part of the email was that PAYG service will see some price increases: calls increase 15p/min to 25p/min, texts from 5p each to 10p each, and picture messages from 16p each to 30p each. Certainly an incentive to go the Goodybag route and for data-heavy users, good news indeed that the data limits are doubling. Especially for those in the US who are looking for a cell company that will allow recharge via a US credit card, giffgaff is a viable option.
