I have an Aeroplan award flight IAD-YUL booked 11/1. Since it was booked, both the record locator and the flight schedule have changed. I'd like to either cancel it and rebook a different itinerary (DCA-YUL) or see if they'll just make that change based on the schedule change. Because of the record locator change, I cannot do anything on Aeroplan.com and because it's booked using miles, I can't make changes directly with AC.

In the interest of avoiding a runaround, which call center should I wait out? Aeroplan or AC? Not news to any of you, but call waits are atrocious on both (like others, I'm hung up on without even getting to the hold message). I'm just unclear who will be able to make the change . . .I'm assuming (dreading?) that it's Aeroplan but just looking for confirmation.
