Suggestions about getting airline to respond
All, following a trip to Australia in December, Air China mysteriously credited one leg’s miles to my United FF account (as I had requested) and credited the return leg to an alleged Air China FF# for reasons unknown to me. United contacted them on my behalf and said that they denied a request to cancel the transaction or credit the miles appropriately. When I contacted them by email, they said basically the same thing, I wrote them several more times, civilly, asking them to reconsider given that I’d never had an Air China FF account, had clearly asked for the miles to be credited to United and was concerned that someone had simply made an error. I have yet to hear back. When I try calling the US number they simply refer me to the email. Has anyone had any luck escalating complaints with Air China?
