Yup really making that European market very expensive, what are some of those Ryanair fares again?
The law isn’t a lottery, it’s to encourage airlines to have better performance. It’s not magical to carry more spare parts, more staff, more whatever to be a reliable service.
If Jetstar cancel their Wellington to Melbourne service and say, sorry, nothing until tomorrow like what happened to me, that’s not very helpful. My friend got stuck in Tokyo for two extra days with Jetstar.
What I don’t get is, other countries have more passenger friendly regulations, and still have very competitive airfares. Why wouldn’t we want that here?
