If you have at least an 8 hour layover at NBO (which pretty much all of KQ's flights have) you can sign up for KQ's Go Wild Safari when booking your ticket for an additional $200.

The safari includes
- a personalized guided 4-hour game drive
- breakfast or lunch in the park
- park admission fees

You will need a transit visa in order to go on the safari - available online (but the website only seems to work a couple of days a week). evisa.go.ke | Republic of Kenya Electronic Visa System

This seemed like a great way to break up my 17 hour layover.
