I think the whole debacle is panic-driven and overdone, so...
At the very least they should be consistent in ALL areas though! Not increasing the cleaning/disinfection of the planes is foolish IMO, and inconsistent with everything else that is happening.

I was on a CX flight to PEK yesterday, and they stopped handing out hot meals, blankets and magazines, so there's obviously concern enough that there is POTENTIAL for infection in this area.

Increasing the cleaning/disinfecting of the planes thoroughly in this fiasco would go a long way to easy some pax' concerns.

They won't do it [right now] of course, because it costs money, AND there hasn't been a panic driven piece in the media about it.
