Around Thanksgiving last year, I booked one way tickets on Spirit and Allegiant. Had to call in and was transferred what I believe was a third party agent. Was able to use points to pre-pay for luggage and seat assignment on Allegiant but not on Spirit. Like someone else mentioned.. be prepared for it to take a while. Think it was close to an hour in total to book two groups of four one way tickets on separate carriers.
