Gay Halloween is always the Saturday before Halloween. SO, this year gay halloween and straight halloween will be the SAME weekend.

Gay halloween centers around the big circuit party (Project Lazarus) Check out www.gayhalloween.com. I believe that this party requires costume for entrance. We haven't been to the party in a couple of years - but in the past, a lot of the costumes were themed groups. So, each group would have a brief time at the party to put on a dance number on stage competing for best costume or something like that.

Halloween is our single favorite time in New Orleans. It's not quite as crowded as Decadence, not quite as over the top, and certainly not quite as hot. We're skipping the party this year but literally will fly in the night of the 29th and back out the evening of the 31st. We don't even have to miss work!
