Just looking through the Global Explorer fares, they look pretty reasonable if you start in Tonga - at the current conversion rates the DGLOB34 is US$4,339.68 and the AGLOB34 is US$5,443.25. Not that difficult to get to either from Australia, Air Pacific flies there via Nadi, and for those lucky QF Frequent Flyers you still get you SC's for those flights as well (or a 30,000 point redemption). Now just to see if anyone knows a good travel agent in Tonga to deal with I guess? . Probably not much use for those elsewhere in the world (then again, I think we could just look on in envy with the Cairo fares from down here before ).
