My account executive is scheduled to call me in early February to discuss the AmEx Platinum Card; however, this new information is quite helpful. However, what is confusing me is that I believe I need a Platinum CashPlus Account in order to receive the $550 engagement bonus, but my question is, will having over $1M in investments with MS trump the $5K monthly deposit requirement, or will I still need to meet that monthly deposit criteria?
