I recently had a weekend @ the Sheraton Neues Schloss and it was very nice. It's close to the train and tram station, so you can access the airport easily. It was in the center of the main tourist areas, with everything very easy to walk to. You could walk one block to the lake front, or walk a few blocks the other direction to the old city center. I was upgraded to a nice suite on the top floor with a private rooftop patio. Breakfast was included for Titanium at the restaurant attached. I also took the train Saturday morning to Lichtenstein and spent the day bicycling around (you can rent a bicycle at the train station). I had a blast, and took the train back that afternoon. It looked to me like trains went to Zurich every hour or so. It's where I would stay when I return to Zurich. The views of the lake are amazing.
