Comfort class is supposed to come with a complimentary alcoholic beverage. I understood that if one is not drinking (it being Dry January after all) I could substitute a snack, but I just had quite a back and forth with the flight crew about it. There is nothing on my boarding pass, but I showed them my itinerary which showed I had paid. Anyone have a similar experience?
I wasn't aware of the snack substitution... where did you see that? I usually take the beverage, but having an option to swap out for a snack would be nice to know.
As for the code on the BP, it's supposed to say "BRVG" on the bottom portion of the right hand small stub. Also, the top left of the boarding pass should state something on the lines of "Comfort Fare"... but there have been documented issues here where nether shows up on the boarding pass... which seems to be also your case.
