So currently, I have an award HYD-HKG-ORD on CX. I saw that BOM-HKG is also available, and that is a better fit. I tried to call to change it (reservation is still on hold), but CX apparently will not release the connection in HKG. If married segments are in play then there's no easy workaround. However I would still HUCA 2 or 3 times to make sure the agents are not mistakenly applying their married segment "policies" when in reality none are in place for your desired award.
