Yeah, I like to see downtown on approach, but most of the time it's short-lived or difficult since the approach brings us right above ALaing Bridge and the hilliness (sp?) of Vancouver proper impedes the line of sight. But even the view of the Fraser River Valley is quite beautiful. On the flip side, viewing the many mega-named mountains of WA state is quite the treat.

But none of those views beats flying UA ORD-PDX... the view of Mt. Hood is spectacular.. sometimes you feel like can reach out and touch it.
