The noise is not disturbing me but I have a room facing the courtyard.

I noticed this as I looked out of the window of the Marquis lounge last week. The Reni badly needs a renovation. Not sure what is going on though. Where do cars go if they can't use the 9th street entrance? In the past four years I have seen that hotel get more and more beat up. Granted, they re-did the lounge, and that is nice. But the elevators take forever, the decor or the lobby/bar is tacky and outdated. Last summer it rained very hard and the atrium leaked. And all the rooms and hallways smelled like a rotting swamp.

Yet, the place is always packed, and I don't understand why.
