I don't understand what makes "the best side" to sit on... are we Mother Nature here? Do we know the wind and weather conditions on any given day going into YVR, or any other airport for that matter? Am I missing something here? I fly YYZ-YVR like a fiend, almost every weekend and I've gone into YVR from several different approaches (sometimes a small sweep over the ocean, sometimes large, sometimes directly over Arthur Laing Bridge, sometimes not... All the views are great, IMHO. Perhaps I'm missing something here... ?!
