My Virtuoso agent was told by the property basically that, since I was booked direct on the Cosmopolitan system that the reservations will not show up in my Marriott account, but that I will receive Marriott benefits, points for stay, etc. Has anyone experienced this? The conference I go to at the Cosmopolitan has a similar funky process.
I have to register through the conference portal directly with the hotel. I manually add the Bonvoy number via email with customer service at the Cosmopolitan.
The reservation doesn't appear when I login to my Bonvoy account. And I've never had a problem when checking in.
