UA has historically given downgrade comp for change of gauge close to departure. IMO 31 hours is close enough.

Especially since UA has specifically elected to sell a PP cabin on these routes, despite very limited aircraft available to fly them. This is an entirely predictable result, and entirely of UA's making. It is customer unfriendly in the extreme.
