Most of ba’s European destinations are there because they have both strong connecting and p2p potential, and ideally both as origin and destination. summer destinations are the exception as ba can make them temporarily worth it on p2p traffic.
most of the destinations discussed in this thread, however, miss out on the connecting potential and many on the ‘origin’ one.
