Excellent review. I totally agree with the comments in general, & in particular, regarding relevant comparative benefits at Fairmont (our previous go-to in SIN).
To be frank, the suite upgrades at Conrad are of limited interest to us as the sofa seating in them leaves a lot to be desired in the comfort stakes (low back = uncomfortable!). So a nice King Executive, bay view, on a high floor is a good outcome.
Totally agree - Suites are really not worth worrying about here - they look great, but seating is completely unusable. High floor rooms with a view are much better.
The lounge is the winner at this hotel though - obviously gets very busy, but it's a nice space and staff are good.
Also, the location (for me anyway) is great for MRT and Airport. By foot is another issue - I got lost going running though - difficult to find your way to Marina Bay by walking/running.
