I'm surprised you chose points over ~$150 when you can buy 5k points for ~$60. I guess if it's OPM and you're getting a cheaper rate already so why not.
my travel budget is $450 a night so anything under that is beneficial for the client....i could have stayed in a more expensive hotel but this way the client pays less & i get an extra 5k points....
