Excellent review. I totally agree with the comments in general, & in particular, regarding relevant comparative benefits at Fairmont (our previous go-to in SIN).

To be frank, the suite upgrades at Conrad are of limited interest to us as the sofa seating in them leaves a lot to be desired in the comfort stakes (low back = uncomfortable!). So a nice King Executive, bay view, on a high floor is a good outcome.
