Are connecting Widerĝe PSO flights forming a non-PSO route EuroBonus eligible?
I'm trying to plan some itineraries to reach 45 segments and increase my EuroBonus status, but the numbers are going to be very close, and I ran into this question which I can't find answered anywhere. It's probably best to use an example: TOS-HAA and HAA-HFT are both on Widerĝe's public service obligation list, and therefore you don't earn any points or qualifying segments on them. However, TOS-HFT is not on the PSO list, so if you take a direct TOS-HFT flight, e.g. WF904 tomorrow, then you will earn points and one qualifying segment. But Widerĝe will also sell you two PSO flights together like TOS-HAA-HFT, e.g. WF990 on Monday. Will such a pair of PSO flights, combined to form a non-PSO route, earn one qualifying segment, or not? Of course, assume that the two PSO flights are booked on a single ticket, and my understanding is that continuing passengers usually don't even get off the plane at the intermediate stop in cases like this, so I'm hopeful that it will work out, but it would be nice to hear if anyone has had prior experience with this.
