Reading a lot about (meal-)service taking a long time. Parts of this might be down to it being a new aircraft with different layout. I have flown on EK A380 when it was new, BA A380 when it was new, QR B787 when it was new and others...and also been on most of those later. I have seen on all of these that the service took very long when the crew was not used to the aircraft, and the service-time have dropped significantly later when crew are used to it and maybe procedures have been adjusted. I also guess it was the same when BA moved from trolley to non-trolley in CW?
