Try looking from a different browser (Chrome instead of Firefox), or browse incognito, or use a different laptop altogether (like from the library).
Since AA uses cookies to track your browsing behavior, it's possible they'll never lower the rate when they see YOU logging in, since they know you're already on the hook.. Why ever lower the price for someone who keeps coming back to check. They KNOW you want to go....
But if a new PC checks the route and dates, it's possible you may get a refreshed rate down the road... Would love to hear if any of this holds water.....something I've always been suspicious that the carriers do, for both revenue and award tickets...
