And sometimes the hors' d'oevres are nice, especially when I have a late work dinner or am changing time zones. There's no one thing I like about lounges, just a lot of little things that take the edge off of long road days.

For now, I'm sticking with Marriotts where and when I can. But during Q4, I'll be going to places where Hiltons, Doubletrees, and HGIs are the only option. This means I'm unlikely to have enough nights to qualify for Marriott Platinum for 2021. That's why I'm weighing whether it's worth it to go all in and get an Aspire card and go as a Diamond.

If you can find a way to use the credits, it is worth it to get the Aspire no matter what level you reach with Marriott.
