Sorry guys but I think we need to come back to earth as we are sending wrong information to OP. The 1st part of his/her question was "Would I be able to check in / drop luggage / go through security at 2E for a flight leaving at 2G" and the answer is definitely NO. Any lounge access in 2E discussion is irrelevant knowing that IMHO.
