However there can be times during the day where the counter is closed and they reopen 3 hours prior to the next flight departure. Without knowing your travel date it's hard to say.

The Fairmont is directly connected to the terminal and not far from Delta check-in counters, so you could always leave your bags with the Fairmont bell staff team and pick up again later in the day.
