The Altea seat optimizer does whatever the client airline wants. So while LHG gave *G members a relatively high priority, I don't know what AC did when they recently switched to Amadeus.
While we could argue that many airlines usually don't even know what they want their systems to do, my experience above was of course meant with Swiss on European flights.
