I'm not 100% sure re the IFE boxes but from memory and it seems to suggest it in photos online there is a fairly clear area to put your feet through.
Personally if that's all that's left I would take them for now and very regularly monitor the seatmap as I don't think leaving it and hoping for an op up is a good idea to be honest. If it's still the same as OLCI re the seats then I'd check in as normal but don't print your BP which allows you to more easily change seats. There can be a lot of changes between now and a week out, even at OLCI, so see what happens and fingers crossed a pair of window seats open up for you.
