Any recent stays here? I need a couple of nights this spring in Madrid for sightseeing. Somewhat to my surprise, there aren't a lot of good options among the various chains to use my loyalty points. Many of the chain hotels seem to have less-than-ideal locations and/or are charging a lot of points. We have a couple of IHG Chase certificates and with the new 40K cap, this hotel seems like a good use for those certs. I know it has good location for tourists. I'm a little put off by the bad reviews though. If I had other decent choices, I'd be inclined to pass on this one.
